The film tells the story of Sam King MBE, father of the Windrush Foundation, and first Black Mayor of Southwark. This was shown at Dulwich Library and Luton Town Hall on Windrush Day 22 June; and screened at The Tate Exchange in August. Black Heroes film, The Story of Sam King returned to the Tate Modern for screening as part of the Power of Southwark Show on Saturday 9th November, at 3:30pm.
