A Tribute to Flip Fraser: “The Story of Flip Fraser” is not just a performance; it’s a celebration of a remarkable legacy. This event, presented by the Black Heroes Foundation, honours Flip Fraser’s journey from his early days in Jamaica to his transformative impact in London.

At just 16, Flip moved to the UK, eventually becoming the pioneering editor of The Voice newspaper and the visionary behind the iconic production ‘Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame’, which encapsulates 5,000 years of Black history in a single night of theatre.

October 25th also marks Flip’s birthday, making this tribute even more special. The Shaw Theatre is significant as it hosted Flip’s first production, creating a poignant connection to his legacy.

Produced by Black Heroes Foundation with support from partner, The University of Greenwich.

Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame was an outstanding and well-renowned show of 25 years, which toured the UK, USA, and Jamaica, with its last performance being in London, 2007. There is still a great deal of interest in the show, with demands for it to be re-launched. Part of this journey was the registration and launch of the Black Heroes Foundation in 2016”.
